Luxe basics lovingly made in Australia.
Founded on a kitchen table in Sydney's Tamarama beach in 2006, creative director Rebecca Powell created Tluxe with the aim of providing understated, high quality clothing inspired by the ease of the Australian way of life and Coco Chanel's philosophy that, 'Luxury must be comfortable, otherwise it is not luxury.'
Rebecca grew up in London and designed for Top Shop, Selfridges and Stirling Cooper before being approached by Australian street and surfwear label, Mambo to create their export collection. She moved to Australia and following ten years of working with Australian companies including iconic brand Bonds, recognised a gap in the local market for Australian designed and made luxury basics.
Keeping the original concept of deluxe tee shirts in mind, Tluxe explodes the idea of basics dressing with a collection that uses only the highest quality materials to produce fluid, elegant clothes made for layering, that look great and feel superb against your skin. Each garment is designed with keen attention to detail and fabrics and colours are developed uniquely for the range. This is ultra modern, effortless and subtly individual style.
Tluxe cares about the environment, supports local industry and where possible works with organic and sustainable yarns including bamboo, cotton, cashmere and Merino wool. The label is now stocked in selected boutiques internationally.
