      Something for the weekend...Tracey Emin

We love that Tracey Emin's neon artwork More Passion is now hanging in 10 Downing Street. If you've just missed her latest work at London's Hayward Gallery, and like us, don't mind mixing culture with a little retail therapy, pop into Louis Vuitton Maison on New Bond St if you're in town to see the Brit artist's new works and maybe even buy one Tracey's limited edition silk scarves she's made especially for them, appropriately titled (given our location and love of the city), Sex 21 Sydney (2011).

      The stylists' edit

Here at Tluxe HQ we’ve had the nation’s top stylists combing through our new season collection, choosing their favourite pieces to shoot for the up-coming summer fashion pages of the country’s leading style mags. From Grazia and Shop til You Drop to our pals over at Russh, their favourite pieces right now include anything in a nude tone, our streamlined Coco C pant, the boldly striped Tori B maxi skirt, and our super slouchy Nicole F top.

      On trend... summer stripes

This season it’s all about stripes. Strong, graphic engineered stripes in bright summery colours are a great way to inject some on-trend zing into your spring wardrobe. The key to keeping the look up-to-date is to  mix the new season's bold brights with black and white, and keep your silhouette simple. We’ve made it easy for you with our new Rebecca P maxi dress in cheery sunshine yellow and super strong graphite. Wear it with a huge fluoro tote, or if like us, you can’t wait for summer, layer it up with a mis-matched striped T-shirt for a cool spring day.

We love… Christine Centenera, Harper’s Bazaar

The casual cool of Harper’s Bazaar Australia Fashion Editor, Christine Centenera is something that’s always appealed to us here at Tluxe. It’s not only her reputation as an international style leader that we love - appearing on numerous blogs, including The Sartorialist, and now consulting for Kanye West’s upcoming womenswear line - it’s her unique way of dressing up the casual comfort of quality cotton jersey, a theme very close to our hearts.

Christine's clever formula revels in contrasts; feminine with rock'n'roll, tailoring with loose slouchy fits, high glam faux fur with a low key T-shirt and grey marle track pants. We can’t wait to see the outfits she has lined up for next month’s round of international fashion weeks, starting with New York on September 8. Rock on Christine.
